Okay, so, first off, the build-up to the concert was just weird. Trista and her friends were supposed to go, along with me and my friend Stephanie. Then, the concert sold out and I couldn't get tickets. But I found someone who had an extra ticket, so I was going to meet up with her and buy it from her. Then Ryan's car broke down and Trista couldn't come. So she was going to send her two tickets here so Steph +1 could come. But they ended up not showing until Saturday so I ended up going alone.

After fighting with the maternal unit about going to the line, I ended up getting in line at 1-ish. I chilled there until about 3:15 when the girl I was buying the ticket from showed up. I met up with her and gave her the money for the ticket and stood around with her inside the lobby for a while. Suarez walked by but I decided not to say anything because I didn't want to see creepy or awkward. The VIP people came in, and the early entry too. Suddenly, her friend came in and apparently her friend was on the guest list and she was her friend's +1. So I didn't have a ticket. They kind of wandered in and I wandered in with them. Without a ticket. Yeah, I know.

So, I snuck into the concert and made it up to the stage. I was about 6 or 7 rows from the front and there were these douchebags who decided to fit 12 people into a 4 person sized area. Versa Emerge started and, within 2 or so songs, I was in the 2nd row. Saw one of the girls I met at the Cab show over the summer again, which was pretty cool. I really liked Versa Emerge and I really need to check out some of their music.

I made friends with the two girls who were standing to the left of me and we bonded. They were really nice and we talked for a while while A Rocket To The Moon set up. Not gonna lie, I was kind of skeptical about ARTTM. I enjoy them enough on CD, but they were amazing live. I was thoroughly amused at Nick's little bow-legged stance he has. Eric was making eyes at me for a lot of the show and it was pretty funny. I jammed out to them and had a good time. Someone remind me to download On Your Side.

Now, I really hate my maternal unit. I forgot to call her before I went in and she freaked out. So she called security and they found me before The Maine's set. The guy was like, "Your mom wants to see you at the front doors." And I told him I was NOT going to leave. I told him that I could call her and he said that I needed to go to the side and I said, "No, I can call her from here. I'm not leaving." But seriously, fuck her. I hate her so much.

The Maine came on and they were enjoyable. Nothing really special to say about them.

But then, omg, Cobra fucking Starship. They rocked that shit OUT! It was my first time seeing them live. They were amazing, even with the blinding strobelights. They opened with The City is at War. I was kind of suprised that they didn't play any songs from their first album. They had a lot of songs off the new one but a decent amount from Viva. Gabe pulled Sierra onstage to sing William's part on Snakes On A Plane. She was not too happy about that (I heard her talking about it when I was buying a t-shirt for my friend.) Gabe was all over Vicky-T though. It was amazing though. They were probably my favorite set.

I decided that I was going to leave before Boys Like Girls because I didn't really care about them. I said goodbye to my new friends and went to go buy a shirt. I was kind of bummed because I didn't have enough money to get myself a shirt but I was okay with it. There was necklace I wanted, but the guy wasn't selling it until Boys Like Girls went on, and I didn't want to stick around that long.

So I went outside to wander around the venue (which was an old church, wtfff) and realized, as I got to the back, that I had left my camera out front. So I ran to get that, dropped my sunglasses, and luckily some girls had found my camera and gave it back. So I went back to get my glasses, got stared at by Eric again (lol, creeper.) I finally went back to the hotel and just crashed.

Sorry this is so long, but it was the weirdest fucking concert ever.

I GOT A TICKET TO THE SOLD-OUT COBRA STARSHIP SHOW! I AM SO HAPPY YOU GUYS WOULDN'T EVEN BELIEEEEEEEEEVE!!!!!

I can't wait to see tristafantastic again. I am so stoked you wouldn't even believe.

Life is looking up. I can't see a downside!

My plans for the next few weekends:

Halloween weekend: Last football game! Scary movies with Caity and Ryan! Halloween party at Carys's!

First weekend of November: Lock-in at my church with Caity and Steph! Murder Mystery game!

November 14th: COBRA STARSHIP WITH tristafantastic! OMG YOU GUYS I AM SO EXCITED!

It feels like it's been a day, a week, barely a month. We've had our ups and downs, but we're stronger because of that. I love you more than anything. When people tell me they don't know why we're together, I always say, "I don't know either. She's one of those people that you just love, even if you don't know why you do."

Everything you do, just makes me fall harder for you.

Also, 5 month anniversary with my girl is in 2 days. I can't believe it's been that long. It seems like it's just flown by.

Stephanie and I (hopefully along with tristafantastic) are driving to Chicago during Spring Break. We're hopefully going to stay with this couple we found on couchsurfing.org for the week. While we're there, we're going to leave the car where we're staying and take public transportation around the city. We're going to go EVERYWHERE and see EVERYTHING we can. It's pretty much going to be a week of wandering around the city, just exploring everything. I am soooooo excited.

My spring break will be awesome.

I'm back and sassier than ever.

I am... a serial flirt. It's not that I'm not in love with you. It's something I do without realizing it. I don't say no. I don't think, "Hey, I'm not single; I shouldn't do this." It's not a cheating thing, it's a me thing. I am a free spirit that can't be tied down. It's a hard thing to explain. Just because I like other people doesn't mean I don't want you.
